What size and pitch are threads on oil pressure sender?

What size adapter is needed to connect my 1/8 pipe thread male fitting on my mechanical oil pressure guage to the oil pressure sender block? Also, having trouble finding where to purchase. Any help appreciated.

which engine - what sender location?

early engines had the sender near the FW end, later ones had it in a special fitting at the fan end - some had a 1/8 size and some were larger

some had a dual sender for light & psi, some had 2 separate senders at each end as above, for same functions

- and then there are adapts for marrying the two sender thread sizes

Patrick MS has been advertising a sender/adapter on eBay recently,

and i was able to source the later style on eBay fom another party along with the adapter from the larger to the 1/8 size

tomorrow I'll check those for sizing & will post later

.

It is a late 78 3.3 930 turbo engine. My measurement says that it is a 17mm and I assume a 1.5 pitch? Just want to verify. Googling has not found that size of adapter.

The one that Patrick offers is a two pole that goes on top of the engine at the flywheel end. The adapter they use must be M10 x 1.0 to M18 x 1.5 The reason I know that size is because the original case adapter for the single idiot light/oil pressure warning switch is in that location, and I have a mechanical oil pressure gauge connected there. It was adapted by the previous owner with a brass tee that tapped into that M10 hole and converted it to 1/8 NPT. So I removed that brass adaptation and installed a M18 x 1.5 to AN-6 adapter to plumb my mechanical oil pressure gauge and pressure sender.

Forgot to add that the single pole pressure sender that is attached to the engine case right side of the fan with that adapter block has a much larger base thread. I've been meaning to measure that big threadbecause I have been thinking about pulling my oil pressure signal (AutoMeter electronic peak/warning pressure gauge) from that location.

Ordered the adapter from Patrick today. Sender threads are 18M x 1.5. Adapter with male 18mm 1.5 to 1/8 npt was $18.
