Aircond 134A Being Phased Out ?
Is it true that 134A is to be phased out and replaced with HFO-1234yf ?
Is anyone supplying a system that runs HFO-1234yf in a 1988 Carrera ? |

About 2 week ago Mercedes had a test car and induced a leak of 1234. It caught fire. Mercedes is now refusing to use it because it is very flammable. They are retrofitting back to 134. Yesterday VW followed suit. Honeywell, the manufacturer(I think), is very upset.

Well, I use the es12a, 5 years, no issues and no license needed on my oem r12 system.
