At the recent PCA/Pelican event at Fontana (California Speedway) I bought a Prototipo wheel (black) with the correct Porsche badge horn button and the MOMO hub kit for what I considered a fair price from these guys. I have seen less go for more on eBay.

The parts were very nice and truly perfect.

IMHO, they seem to focus on many rare and semi-rare parts and appear to be able to get whatever one may want. I saw a few sets of early sport seats and one NOS early sport seat that still had the Recaro tag on it! I also saw a couple of 917 style '78-'79 calipers and a perfect plastic RS tank with a correct collapsable tire hugging a pristine deep dish 15X6 Fuchs - all at the PCA/Pelican event.

They had a nice tent(s), great looking products and I am very happy with my purchase from these guys. I would say they are legit, but consider my opinion a single data point for your purposes.

Kurt you and the guys on this bbs are the only people i trust, i live in Indiana and its hard to buy parts from where you are at especialy used, we all know pictures can hide alot so the imput you and others have are extremely valued, Thanks, Kevin

I also live in Indiana. I bought alot of parts from Dave at MS road and Race. Hell of a guy IMHO. I bought a few window trim peices from him and one was a little short for some reason. I called him about it and he sent me a new one, no questions asked. He didn't even want me to send the faulty part back. He's the one that sold me my Strosek body. Very happy customer.:D

I also have bought some stuff from Dave. Nice honest guy. He is expensive but so are Porsches.
He sent me a cool X-Mas card last year.

I've spent 90% of my inheritence at Dave's shop..he's a great guy!!

I've bought all kindsa stuff from Dave over the years, he's a good guy.

dave is the real deal. very knowledgable and has a ton of parts including a lot of new old stock, unique and rare items. if you want it i bet he has it.

Dave is a great guy, he deals with a lot of shops, dealing with shops they have NO time for half a** deals, they need the correct part in the correct condition, no ands, ifs, or buts about it.

Deal with this guy! He is everything good, these guys have said.

Dave has to be nice to me, cause I'm his back-up truck driver.

Would you mind letting us all know what the bad experience was now?

I bought some 993 calipers from him a year or so ago, I paid top dollar, but the seals and boots were absolutely fried when I got them. I'm not sore, I rebuilt them, but they were not what I would've expected for the price. They did ship promptly.

I havent bought anything recently from Dave but have known him for years and use to buy many parts from him. He was always a good guy to deal with. His parts are pricey like others have said. I notice his stuff on ebay all the time. Maybe check his ebay rating for additional assistance. Goodluck.
