Removed the cruise control module to send off for repair, fixed the broken cruise control cable at the throttle body and checked the clutch switch in the tunnel for proper operation. Then I took out the fan housing and strap to the get those and the fan and other hardware restored by flyingjay. Had to remove the distributor to get the fan strap out. Thinking about new A/C hoses, compressor, evaporator and condensers...

Thumbs up AEM Gauge and Sensor

This took me about three hours to run the wiring. I drilled a couple of holes to feed the cable through the tunnel and up through the dash.

Cave Creek Welding shop is great, super quality!

Thanks Flojo. I was wondering about that but figured the integrated washer on the nut was sufficient. I’ll add the washers today when I do the tranny mounts. Thanks!

Dropped the engine/transmission due to oil leak on rear main seal. The clutch disc with only 15,000 kms on it and is oil soaked. Damn it!!

I did a single step polish with a Rupes 15mm DA and Rupes Uno Pure compound on a white foam pad. Ceramic coated with P&S Inspiration Ceramic Coating, and topped off with P&S Bead Maker.

I need to do the wheels next.

Cleaned a set of P7 shod Fuchs Evo wheels off the car.

Fun Fact, the wheels & tires are light enough that they float. In fact, the 16x9, 245/45-16 are more buoyant than the 16x7, 205/55-16. Who knew?!

The wheel / tire is not touching the bottom of the bin in this pic...

I actually didn't need this other piece...

I suppose I could go with a lower water level, or the Rollastand will come in handy for cleaning bare wheels.

What am I doing to my 911 today?

Nothing -- because I'm waiting for parts. Pelican accepted my order (and charged me) more than three weeks ago, but hasn't even shipped them yet.
