Been dealing with an overheat since moving to nearly 7000 feet from sea level. Did the $5 oil line fix on one of the crushed lines, new external thermostat, new oil pressure relief, replaced the soft lines from the tank/engine to the thermostat, replaced trombone with CSF fender cooler and Spal fan.
Fired her up and ripped through the hills, she's MUCH happier now.

![]() Radio delete plate. Not convinced this is an improvement over my DIY insert. Maybe adding a sticker bling would help. |

Granted this was early in the week rather today since I’m on vacation, but my car is getting an oil change, new brake fluid and soft lines at each corner, suspension lube, underbody inspection and a bit of cleaning, a little more Targa top fitting and a different steering wheel prior to a trip I’m taking it on at the end of this week. I’d like to finally install the Continental radio but ran out of time. Set out to install the splash shields I’ve had in a box for years but quickly realized that was going to take a lot more time than I had.

![]() Yes, upgrade looks great. I covered all my panels w/leather and decided to get rid of after market speakers in doors and deleted the aftermarket radio. It’s a much cleaner look. |

Nice. Cycled over Roseland on my way to Nice two years ago. One of the best Cols in the Alps, with views of Mt. Blanc. Cool.

Rennline metal delete plate is WAY better than the ill-fitting Porsche plastic piece...

First "long" roadtrip this weekend to wine country.
Performed great, Memorial day rush hour traffic back to Los Angeles was a drag. Cruising the open roads through the vineyards and small town main streets were amazing and got a lot of head turns and photos!. Found some small oil leaks on returning home, but all in all perfect weather and perfect time with the wife...

I would not get that out on the open road without one.

Replaced the A/C Fan Switch
Recharged the A/C the other night. Now the fan doesn't work. Had "fun" checking the relay (Thanks Youtube!) and the fan. Found the fan switch terminals looked very bad with corroded terminals and hot spots Bought a perfect fit generic switch from Advance Auto Parts for $10 and replaced the corroded connectors. There is very little extra wire so stripping and crimping was a challenge. Summer has found Texas and even 56 degree A/C feels pretty good.

You mean the guys that simply didn’t add a rear wing to an otherwise stock 911 without further modifications…to include a front valance with an integrated spoiler.
