I purchased them 2/12 and received them on 2/27. Pretty damn good. And the packaging was superb - of course, being a German company.

Went with black headlight rims and took off the white. I think it's starting to balance my car out. Two more things:
1. Install new 7"/9" RSR Fuchs 2. Remove Flag mirrors and replace with Vitaloni Sebring Stay tuned. Jim

Checking off items on the list prior to putting my Carrera up for sale.
I pulled the Dansk one in two out sport muffler and put the original muffler back on. Since I had modified the rear valance for the two out muffler I purchased a new valance and had it painted to match. You can see the Dansk under the car on my creeper This is what Dansk looks like on the car Also replaced the front spoiler lip and installed the Weltmeister skid plate/spoiler protector that I bought a few years ago. No pictures of that.

Two more items off the list:
1. removed dead pedal 2. straightened the gauges. Personally I like them tilted, been that way so long it looks strange to me straight.

Those Lights look real nice! I have been on the fence to purchase those LEDS for a while.
Going to give the instrument panel LEDs a first go though.

Finally got out for a drive today to check out the new seats. I'm also enjoying the purposeful look of the black headlight rings.

I don't have pictures to post but, I replaced the dome light door pin switches and rubber domes. Lights now work when doors open.

Fixed Steering Wheel Scraping Noise
My steering wheel has been making a scraping noise for quite a while - to the extent that I don't notice it anymore, but new passengers do. I replaced the plastic bushing with the metal sleeve many years ago (~ 2004 ish).
I always assumed that the clamshell was rubbing the outside ring of my Momo Prototipo adapter. Finally got around to checking it out last weekend and found out otherwise... The horn contact (Porsche part # 911.613.521.00 - AKA "wiper contact) had a hole rubbed into the brass contact area: ![]() The horn contact was cheap (~$20), so I replaced it. ![]() Additionally, the contact / slip ring / steering wheel cancel ring that mounts onto the steering wheel assembly was nearly worn through at one point: ![]() The OEM part (911.347.099.00) is ~ $90, but it appears that there is an aftermarket part 914.347.099.00 that is the same for ~ $12. I ordered it and will give it a shot next weekend. One less annoying noise... Gordo

Fixed windshield washer on `87 Carrrea
Checked off another item from my list today. Fixed the windshield washer today. Hasn't been working for a years.
It's a real pain in the ass to get the washer pump out but fixing it was pretty easy. Impeller was frozen up which a little Tri-Flow solved. Getting a cruise control cable from another lister in the next few days that will check another item off the list. Yahoo! John
