Which RED interior color was the 87 Carrera available with?

I've read a few threads on Can-Can and Lobster red interiors - which I love - and wondering if someone has a definitive answer and maybe even pics of which was available in 87?

My previous '86 was Can Can red when I ordered the car back then. My friend's '87 was Lipstick Red.

My 86 (87model year) has CanCan red seats and carpets. picture below has black overcarpets in place, but underneath is can can.

Are new carpets available? I believe Pelican sells "custom" carpet in all colors (with long lead times, which is fine). Can someone with a red interior comment on any special difficulties I should be aware of in refreshing the finishes?

Mine has had new carpets made up using original carpet and backing material. £227 in 2011 www.leatherwerks.co.uk

I've always hated red....until I saw the latest Singer Porsche video. Now I want red for my Silver '74.

According to the 1989 Parts Catalog, here are the "red" interior carpet codes and colors:

- 80E: Burgundy (through 88)
- 8MD: Burgundy (89)
- 4MM: Plum Red (through 88)
- 9MT: Velvet Red (89)
