My Lowered Porsche Clacks over bumps.

Hey Everyone---I had lots of clacking noises going over bumps and found that my sway bar drop links (early through the body style) are missing the bushings. Easy fix, right? Not!

It is not a stock drop link and the replacement bushings don't fit. It's length measures 8 1/4". So I was wondering.....When you lower a 911, do you need to change the drop link length too? I'd like to go back to stock: but don't know it that is why they were changed in the first place. Could someone measure their drop links and tell me the length? Or if you have a lowered 911 what you had to do re drop links? Much appreciated. Left pic is stock drop link, right is my drop link.
