Sway bars and why larger in front on stock cars?
I'm looking at a stock setup for 78SC. I'm not sure I understand why the stock setup has 20mm in front and 18mm in the rear. It looks like when everyone upgrades they go to something like 20mm front and 22 rear. What ever configuration I see the rear is always larger. The question I have is why did Porsche use a smaller mm in the rear on stock setup?

Diameter alone doesn't determine stiffness, either. The front and rear bars may or may not have wildly different effective arm lengths, bar lengths, and motion ratios.
