Another few days from Istanbul, and the new ones were here. They look really good, fit well, and the curved top profile doesn't seem to have any downsides that I can see. Easy to adjust the two black screws on the side facing the driver/passenger, to get the correct length between mounting points, and to set the friction as desired for movement. So far, I'm very pleased.

And - I asked them to send a return shipping label for the first set, they never responded - probably not worth the costs to them - so I've got a nice new set of coupe visors in black that will need to find a good home.
I'd happily take those coupe ones off your hands if you're looking to part with them. I've been just pushing the air out of my puffy ones every once in awhile but it'd be nice to have some decent looking ones instead.

Be very cautious with Lakewood. I had a very bad experience with their door pockets. Advertised as best reproduction for concours shows. They are total crap.

Buyer beware!

I just had a local car interior & upholstery shop rebuild mine. They stripped them to the metal wire, and recovered them in a matching color material. No mirror now but I never used the mirror anyway.

Bamboli Ltd Ebay Sun Visor report

Sun visors arrived today. Shipping was super fast, ordered the afternoon of October 29, they arrived mid-morning on November 1. Ebay vendor is Bamboli Ltd. They are based in Turkey. They sell the same product at several different price points, from approximately $100 to $130, so be sure to search around for the best price.

My old sun visors had an "OK" DIY repair/refresh job. I am much happier with the replacement units, especially since the passenger visor now has a mirror, helpful for my better half.

Here are some pics:

Packaging was professional, fast shipping, good price. These are a great solution for a driver quality 911.

Some might like the "puffy" look, but it bugged me.

Old and new for comparison.

Installation was fast, I'm happy with the results.

That’s the same place I ordered from - really nice quality, should have done it years ago.
