thinking about coilovers
There is a lot of reading to do on here and started with the searches.
I bought some parts and in the parts are some coilovers that came off of a track car. I don't know the compression and rebound that is set on the front at this point. How can that be determined? The front struts have been raised (I think-need to measure a stock set) and gusseted. The front springs are 550#. I don't know the rear spring rates, but I believe the rear are valved for 380/180. I am considering putting these on my narrow bodied turbo. Currently the motor is out and this would be the time to gusset the rear support and mounting points. I am not sure how the rears would mount just yet. I am searching for photos of how the type mount with the eyelet at the top. Anyone have any pics? What spring rates would you recommend for spirited street and DE driving? ![]()
