Reintroduction

It's been well over a year and a half since I've posted. Long story short? I got divorced. This weekend I'm moving back into my house. What's really cool is the house happens to come with a Porsche. ...My Porsche. It's been sitting in the garage all this time.

The car looks none the worse for sitting. It's not even as dusty as I thought it would be. I did notice someone unscrewed the thresholds. Not sure what they were trying to accomplish. Looks like 10 trim screws is the first entry on my project list.

Welcome back!
Don't know details(none of our business) but glad you have your house AND 911 back after divorce.

I hope it's a sign that you are off to good start in a new chapter of life.

WELCOME BACK!!

I am curious about those screws? You should check out the value.....there may be a big black market on those screws!

Times like this that I look to old friends for comfort.

Thanks all. It's been a long, strange trip. I won't bore you with the details.

As I walked by the car today I found the scratches. They run across the hood and down the driver fender. They're not real pronounced. They are down to primer. The dirt kind of hides them at the moment. *sigh*

Right now I'm working on the house. It's kinda like the car. Plenty to address, but could be a lot worse.

Don't worry about the screws. Worry about what was underneath the threshold where the screws were. Any storage space under there?

wildthing 06-09-2013 06:46 PM

Good for you. Welcome back.

I'm sure there's a joke somewhere about an ex-wife and you getting a 911 and one of you coming up ahead, but I am not a comedian...

So may I just say, hope you get back to enjoying your single...Porsche. (Oh wait, I'm assuming there's only one.)

Sounds just like me! I got back an empty house and a Porsche. Sadly I had to let her go to furnish the house. I'll be back!
