Early morning ride to test tune-up
If any of you folks live near San Diego there is a great ride for you out of Chula Vista. You simply take Otay Lakes road east and you will be out in open land in only 15 minutes. Keep going until you meet up with old Hwy 94 and continue east. Fantastic winding road all the way to Campo for 50 miles!! I kid you not, it's a great ride and pretty too. If you want to eat you can stop at Barrett Junction Cafe about 15 miles out. On the left, can't miss it. BTW, car ran great and stayed cool. Better bottom end out of a corner. Nick

That's a nice looking car, Nick. Thanks for the tip on that drive. Ever come up by Lakeside and run up or down Wildcat Canyon Road? It's hard to catch without traffic, but the upper half is a fun drive.

Nice looking car! That sounds like a nice drive - I'll have to try some of the roads down south.

do they still have that "All You Can Eat Fish Fry" and hush puppies on Friday nights at Barrett Junction? It's been a few years since I've been there.
