What a great color! I joined the forum after Warren moved on, but have the utmost respect and admiration for him and I'm sure he's looking down and smiling, and looking forward to being your co-pilot soon.

Thanks! Paint is Valspar 2 stage solvent based. KC hasn't converted to water paint yet.

Mark, when will you tell us about the electrical system? I'd think Warren's car would be perfect electrically...

Randy - The electrics seem to be in good condition for a car of this age with low miles...but nothing special. The best we can tell, Warren's declining health and spells of CF kept him sidelined and out of the garage for a lot of years before his passing. Annie was in pretty bad disrepair when we picked her up. I'll clean up the electrical connections as I plug things back in.

Thx for that info - I guess you can use the "Warren approved" cleanup methods...

BTW - I don't recall if he ever mentioned this, but I've taken to hosing all connections down with DeOxIt after I clean and flush them

Yes - KC works full time at GMG. He has a shop south of Ft Worth where he does special projects on the side.

Right across Northwest Hwy from you. Less than a mile! We must both shop at Kroger.

I'm right off Lake Highlands drive and Fernald.

Mark, one tip - the paint can stay "soft" for weeks, so don't be in any hurry to install trim. Check with the painter as the type of paint & temperature can affect this.
