Early Coupe Reproduction Parcel Shelf (1965-1973)

Bob at APPBIZ here

After being hounded for years we have finally reproduced the Rear Parcel Shelf for early (1965-1973) Coupes. It looks and fits just like the original and includes the metal bar with the seat retention snaps (see Pics).

It is available in three versions
PSEC-BV Parcel shelf 65-73 Coupes Black Vinyl List $329
PSEC-BL Parcel shelf 65-73 Coupes Black Leather List $399
PSEC-UIY Parcel shelf 65-73 Coupes upholster it yourself List $279

They are in stock and can be purchased from our Host Pelican parts
If your Rep is not yet familiar with the part number just give him or her our part number and mention it comes from APPBIZ (Applied Business Concepts)

These are nice! I have a question and apologize in advance if it's a dumb one. The rear shelf in my coupe has two tie-down brackets on the rear shelf. I see there are no pre-drilled holes on the reproductions. How does one get the placement of the four holes for the screws for these brackets right, risk free? I would really hate to drill 16 holes in the new shelf trying to get this right... Thanks for any advice.

Finding the Strap holes....

The opening for the screws is a large rectangle in the backer (see pic attached). Once installed you can find the nuts with your hand and poke a little hole in the vinyl just large enough for the screws.
Its really pretty easy.
