carrera tensioner install question - is this gap normal?
I don't remember this the last time I did a tensioner change to pressure fed. is this gap between the idler and the tensioner supposed to be there? same on both sides. newer style idlers. thanks, Don.

When I did my engine I had the same question.
I was recommended to put a washer/spacer that has a porsche number. I can look into it if you want at least the part number. PM me if needed.

Normal just check the idler Wheel is dead center whith chain and it will stay that way .
