You are all looking at it the wrong way. That thing is a steal. It isn't a big deal to return it to its proper form and it looks to be a solid base with all the bits.
Just buy it and unhorrify it.

I agree, could be a fun little hot rod. Dump the bumpers, put on long hood FG parts, some RSR front signal lights, some nice period buckets and wheel, and drive it! If its solid mechanically you could actually make money on it!

I agree with QSilver....with the 911 engine work done it wouldn't take a ton of money to have a nice hot rod with the proper wings/frunk in place. I suspect you could also make a lower offer and cut that price based upon it's looks.

It's mouth resembles some type of fish I saw while diving off some coral in Hawaii.

MFI Motor?

If it has a MFI motor it is a steal. Returning back to OEM can be a long hard road. There was an old CA 912 in my area that was not too expensive in Porsche $$$. A 912 conversion is never a numbers 911 for resale value. I used to walk past this quick painted 912 after lunch and wonder who would be willing to buy the "PIG IN A POKE". Monty Python had a phrase "RUN AWAY, RUN AWAY..." that may be in your best financial interest here. Just saying to be very careful with this one. Best of Luck.

What he said. 99% chance that it was winter driven at some point and rotten. I've seen plenty of ads that say "just needs new floors". Also "floors have been replaced with fiberglass so they won't rust again"!!

It's got a long hood and wings/fenders....so it's already got the proper backdated hood/wings. Why not just get the correct bumpers and you're done???

It does look like it needs an orthodontist badly..

"je ne se crois",

It has a certain "je ne se crois", maybe we would all be thinking this is the best thing since sliced bread if Porsche came up wit it.

I fixed it with my kinder photo shop Paint.

I've done a lot of work on longhoods over the years and everything forward of the headlights is wrong. This thing needs more than early bumper to correct it's overbite.
Depending on the engine it could be parted for a couple of grand. I find it unusual no engine bay picture.

I saw a longhood not too long ago that someone had "updated" to a 964 body. Apparently they dropped a lot of coin on it 15-20 years ago to make it look modern.
