1987 Targa Floorboard

I am looking for a driver's side wood floorboard for a 1987 911 Targa. Our host does not sell one and I have not found one at other classic parts suppliers. does anyone on this forum know of a source?

If they are just not available, can I trim a coupe floorboard to fit. Has anyone done this?

I'll make one from scratch if I have to but I would rather not spend that much time on it.

Thanks.

1987 Targa Floorboard

Perhaps JP Group, Dansk, has ?

You can check in this catalogue, from page 82

Nope, but thanks. I have never looked all the way through a Dansk catalog and spent several pleasant minutes doing so.

I imaging the only difference would be on the wheel well edge where the Targa (or Cabriolets?) have the additional bracing. Should be able to cut down a coupe version, just make a cardboard template from the floorboard first so you can easily trim to at fit, then cut the wooden part.

that's what I thought also, I just wondered if anyone else had done it. I will give it a shot.

Thanks.
