Who has Fabspeed experience?

I ordered a euro pre muffler a few weeks back from Fabspeed. Last Friday I called to get a shipping number and they said "they are just finishing 100 and are in polishing…they will ship late next week.” Today, I called again and the guy who answered (same guy) said, “hold on a minute”….he put his hand over the phone and I heard him ask someone….”what should I tell him?”….the another guy said “tell him they are in polishing and they will be done late next week.” (I guess he didn’t know I could hear them.)

Has anyone had troubles with these guys? Their products look like they are good, but what is the deal? I guess I will call back late next week, but the trend tells me they will say ”in polishing…”

I bought my Dansk dual out muffler from Joe Fabiani at Fabspeed a couple of years ago. For me it was a positive experience. I also bought a performance chip with the muffler but my car ran too rich with it. That I returned for a full refund. No static about the return. I think he is a small operation but reputable.

I'm going to be curious as to what I get: I JUST ordered a pre-muffler from them today! He did tell me that they were backordered some, and that they'd ship mine in a week or so. Maybe they do have a production run that will be finishing up? I'll try and stay optimistic.

Joe runs a small 1 man shop, My impression from dealing w/ him is that he is honest but sometimes overwhelmed by events not under his control. I would give him the benefit of the doubt.
