I had Hagerty for an old collector Land Rover, and up til a month ago, the 911, which cost me $360 ish a year. We had an agreed upon value of low 20's (which was probably low). I called them about a couple things and got to talking about what they would cover, etc. I drive the 911 to work twice a year at most, it lives in a heated locked garage, and gets driven about 2,500 a year.... they were really concerned over the "driving to work" and said that there might be a coverage issue if something happened. They kept coming back to questions like "do you use it to get groceries", "do you use it to do errands". I have other vehicles, but it the weather is nice, I would rather drive the Porsche... They said those types of activities could cause issues with them covering it, but probably they would cover it. At that point, I just asked State Farm to give me a quote as they insure everything else for me. We ended up with a $25K agreed upon value (no questions asked), no restrictions other than under 7,500 miles a year, and $260 a year. So I went with them. All I would say is read the super fine print and ask them specific questions to your personal situation....
