Targa bar back together:

The hood and emblem are finally together:

Just finishing up with the windshield upholstery:

Hoping to have the car out of the warehouse and showing at the Dream Machines event in Half Moon Bay this weekend. Still so much to do!

Sa-weet! Besides all the incredibly challenging work you have accomplished, I love the way the car goes from dusty to shiny without any mention. Fire it up!!

Next up we started putting in the rest of the interior and doing the door panels:

My dog helped when needed:

The never ending quest of piecing hardware together after 4 years of it being moved all over the place:

We did the dash/windshield next. I followed the guides and it was pretty straight forward. We did it 4 times before it was perfect. We were pretty picky about it being perfect and eventually got it there. Plastic pry tools and lots of warm soapy water helped a lot. I used a decent sized electircal cable instead of rope and it was PERFECT.

It was late and we were all pretty excited

Getting really close to the finish line!

The other dog watching closely:

Interior complete:

Just have to put the oil in, bleed the brakes, and adjust the clutch. Time to go for a ride!

I put some oil in it, cranked it a bit with no fuel to get the oil moving, added gas, then she fired right up!

It's running great. I can't believe it's come this far.

First fill up! I can't believe how well it drove. Smooth like butter.

Incredible build, man. You didn't take the cheap or easy road but you (and the car) are better for it. It turned out amazing! Are you going to Rennsport? I'd love to take a look.

Thanks for the kind words. It's been a heck of a long road, but driving it makes it worth it!

I was looking into tickets, but it appears to be sold out. I didn't know if I would have it ready in time when they went on sale.

Corral passes are probably sold out, but GA tickets come with free parking in the lot. Yeah, you have to park next to minivans, but I saw some pretty killer cars out in regular parking. Rennsport is not to be missed. All the big players bring out the big guns and it's pretty special. Not to mention all the street cars in town at night.

Definitely don't want to miss Rennsport! You'd be surprised at what you see in the general lots, I've seen some concept cars, Zonda's, Bugatti's, and random racecars there at times. Three days isn't enough to soak up all the awesomeness at Rennsport either!

I've worked mostly all the kinks out and have been driving the car regularly. Been my daily for the past few weeks with this weather. I wanted to share a pic of the enjoyment.

Wow what a built!
I really dig your work, such an amount of time it should have been! Do you have an idea of how many hours spent on this built?
Great job, I wish you a lot of fun driving it now that it's complete and shinny!
