Early Switch Knobs?
Are the knobs for early switches available, or can someone recommend an updated look? The ones I have are aged and cracked.
The switches themselves are fine - but the knobs are ugly. Any suggestions? TIA, Lawrence |
If Pelican doesn't sell them, I know Tweeks and Performance products do. Do a search on the Pelican parts page first.

Yes, I checked Pelican. They sell the entire switches, but not just the knobs. I'll check with the other usual suspects. thanks!

I got them from Stoddard in the past.
They are "I hope you're sitting down" expensive, for a little piece of squishy rubber. |
Hi Chris! :)
Are there less expensive options, that still look good? Obviously, this will never be a concour car, so I have the flexibility to be creative, within the bounds of good taste. -Lawrence |
One thing you can do, is simply remove the black foam rubber covers...underneath are perfectly good hard plastic knobs.
From what I recall, the earliest 911's didn't even have the rubber covers. It may also be possible to fill in the cracks on your existing knob covers and then paint/dye them back to dark black. I never tried this myself though. |
