My eBay find of the day!!

I love when people use that "RARE!!!" tag in the title of the item they're selling.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=1864712805

This has got to be the LEAST rare Porsche 911 item out there....

Regards,
Andrew M
1970 911T (not really that rare either, I guess!)

Most of these have a lot of resistance when pushed down.
You know how much resistance a hood shock that will not hold up the hood has? Rare indeed!

Hey, guys! Those ARE rare! My car only has two shocks. Think of how nice it would be to have a set of all twelve!

Yes, some dirty pitted hood shocks are indeed Rare. Nothing like that would ever be on a car that I owned!

Too bad you cannot reply to an ebay ad in thread form like this, (right in the ad), Jeezus that would be hilarious!

It's Automobile Atlanta... what else would you expect? Remember, these are the same people who ran an eBay auction trying to sell a telephone call with the owner. Wayne stepped up and won that auction. I always wondered if he ever made the call.

"Most of these have a lot of resistance when pushed down."

Rusty inside?

With about 8 of these, the hood might stay up!

Porsche engineering poll
"What do YOU use to keep the hood up?"

I use a telescopic aluminum walking stick.
