will this 912 part fit a 911 sc
Hey everyone,
a few months ago I was at the track and noticed a 912 with this air vent "catch" (the plastic or fg piece right behind the vent above the hood) http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v6...ps9ffb5476.jpg I have stripped my 911 sc of all heating/air/vents. every once and a while I run into rain coming and going from the track, I have always put a towel down but that's less then ideal. does anyone know if this part is- 1 stock? 2- will it fit on a 911 sc? I would like to keep everything protected and dry, I assume this would be a great way to do so (and a light way) thanks everyone |
It's stock on a 912.
Exactly the same on my 1967. The SC's version is pretty much the same. Should fit. |

That's very cool, I have a fresh air blower delete going and that 912 part seems like a great solution. Does it glue in? I don't see where it would bolt up.

Anyone know the name of the part ( just cowl?) and how/if it bolts up? Car 311. Thanks for some very cool ideas!

That isn't just a 912 part. I know it is a '66-'68 911/912 part and may be a stock later part.
