Intercomp Digital Angle Thingy
I have been refining my chassis set-up tools, got my Intercomp Digital scales, and string set up process. I was using my old hardware store angle finder and was thinking about upgrading it to something new. An eBay search found this:
For the princely sum of $65.00 it was a doable experiment. The angle finder arrived yesterday, opened it up and whow, this is a tool worthy of the Starrett name. In a world of cheaply manufactured mass production junk, this is a jewel. It seems to hold the zero and is amazingly repeatable, in other words it works as well as it is built. Even comes with a small screwdriver to open the back for 9v battery replacement. Magnets on 3 sides means hands free abilities. From Intercomp, this was created for Porsche guys! I mean, who doesn't want to know what the humidity inside their tires is? If they included a Helium inflation kit they would fly off the shelf! http://www.intercompracing.com/test-equipment-humidity/temperature-meter-c-45_47-l-en.html
