				Engine Bay Refresh

This group was helpful in convincing me to keep my 3.2 rather than spend a bunch of money to replace it. Having said that, there is a suggestion to return the heater system to the one that came in my 69 tub. Does anyone have a picture of a 1969 911 engine bay showing the tin and other components? As noted, I have a 3.2 installed. Have attache a picture of the current condition. I am thinking the 3.2 heater, etc is really not being used.

				Thank you

I have an SSI exhaust system installed on my '88 with the 3.2L engine. Not wanting to eliminate the engine mounted heater blower, here is what I did:

I deleted the electric blower on my '88 by using a fan duct from an earlier model to get the look you're after and retain the heat function using the engine fan like the '69 did originally.

thank you all for your suggestions. I will check tomorrow since there may be a switch under my dash put there by a previous owner that runs fans. Not sure why or what. In the meanwhile th link suggested above does not work.

That's why the switch is there in yours. Needs a relay as well if not already there. |

Maybe, but it is clearly an aftermarket tiny toggle.
