Thanks for the heads up. I answered that last one through Taptalk so I didn't pick up on it.

+1 for Leatherique, I wish the same company made Vinylique!

My understanding was you could use that on vinyl as well.

Update

Hey everyone. I just wanted to give an update on my car.
I have the dye job on the seats finsihed. I am pleased with how they came out.

Yesterday I polished up the fuchs I picked up for it. I also lowered the front. I tried to do the rears but I didn't have a 24mm wrench that was thin enough. I may let the shop do that when it goes for the alignment.

I detailed the interior and shampooed all the carpets. I love that the carpets come out. It wasn't that dirty everything was just dingy from 30 years of dust. I got the seats reinstalled except the rear seat bottoms.

The car with the Fuchs on it.

Very interesting color!

That front tire doesn't rub when you hit a bump in the road?

What's the light next to your exhaust tip?

Wow, the PO sure left money on the table selling a car that didn't run, when it was only a loose cable.

Hey Sugarwood. Thanks. The color is Casablanca Beige. I really like the color.

The front tire has rubbed a couple times over big bumps. The inner fender lip was trimmed and rolled by the prior owner so I think that keeps it too a minimum.

The light is the rear fog light. My car is a ROW car so it came standard on it according to the Certificate of Authenticity.

I certainly got a nice deal on the car but at the same time I was buying a NON running car that a person I didn't know told me ran last fall. I had no idea if he was lying or not so I was taking a pretty big chance. There was also a broken wire that I found leading to the cold start injector that was causing a cold start issue.

There was also a list of maintenance items I did as well. It runs awesome right now though. I'm loving it.
