So today I met a couple of buddies for lunch. Beautiful day. Why not take the 911?
As we're walking out of the restaurant one of the guys says "Hey, Tim... isn't that your car driving off?" I turned around and headed straight towards me down the aisle of the parking I see MY black coupe coming right from where I had parked it! ![]() Well I started running towards the car. And then it turned and I saw it had a tail. Ok... NOT my car. ![]() Dang... what are the odds? But one of you owes me a new pair of underwear. That was a terrible, terrible feeling. If you were over near Paradise Grill around lunch today, you know who you are.

There's the advantage to a wine red 911 - you don't often mistake it for another car.

Tim,
Wasn't me or my car, but I feel bad for you so, send me your address and I'll ship you the pair I was wearing today, they're fairly new.

I am indirectly to blame for him leaving.
I would cringe when he would post another thread on value of this or that black Carrera coupe. I went through the same pain/anguish/fear for over a decade before I finally pulled the trigger. The fear of obtaining what you want. Thank God it was a Targa with sugar scoops. Anyways, I posted that it had been seven years since he first started asking value questions (search function - pretty easy) and it was time to get the car. There was an absolute s*** storm of attacks on him after my post and he felt it was time to bow out. I PM'd him through his decision passage and he shared he had some less than favorable personal issues going on. Bummer. I liked the guy. He would have doubled his money on anything he bought. Hope he is in a better place.

Every time you say you like targas AND sugar scoops it makes me afraid you're about to try to convince me how badass a Miata really is.
Speaking of targas... How is yours?
