3.0 sc what plumbing do I need

So im a Porsche sc newbie, a 1979 sc. My car used to have air con but the pulley/assembly was removed from the engine bay, what do I have left and what can I remove, starting from the front of the car (and remembering I now don't have/want functioning air con, I just want to retain the normal non air con heating/blower)

1) Under the frunk, in front of the spare wheel/battery is a kind of old fashioned hair dryer looking thing, what is it and can I remove it im guessing not.

2) In the smugglers box is a kind of fan/motor thing, what is it and can I remove it.

3) At the back of the frunk, near the bulkhead under the wipers, in the frunk, another motor/fan looking thing, what is it and can I remove it.

4) In the engine bay, up over the engine slightly to the left, another fan/motor looking thing, what is it and can I remove it.

Wow, that's 4 items that look like they blow air of some kind, all that and not really efficient, funny

Thanks

GONE, Front condenser Blower that likes to catch on fire.

GONE, Evaporator box.

KEEP, fresh air and defrost blower.

4) In the engine bay, up over the engine slightly to the left, another fan/motor looking thing, what is it and can I remove it.
KEEP, Heater blower, unless you backdate the heat.

Hope that helps, search for more details. Advanced title search is your best friend here

Thanks timmy2

I will research all these now I know what they are and what they are called, looks like I can remove some more weight, which is always good

The catchy firey thing doesn't sound good, that might be the first to go

If you remove the front condenser you need to close the giant hole that will be left, or it will create a swirl of dust bugs and crap inside your luggage compartment, and therefore the passenger compartment. The blower isn't that heavy, and seals that area nicely, you might keep it and simply disconnect the electrical connections.
