^^^ Interesting idea; a GT2 base with a slotted duck tail grafted to the top of it!

This is a race car and even if it looks outlandish, it's purposeful. I'd assume it has some quality downforce For this a wing is in it's element.
I like Jack Olsen's idea. Duck that turns into a masterful wing.

^^^ Brandon (Mr. Opinion #1!!
), no doubt there are many posters that look at the car above and think that the owner should return it to stock given the escalating 911 prices. ![]() Perhaps, but it takes a certain "gold-chain-guido" mentality to own/drive a 911 anyway, so might as well go all out! This is funny. I never owned a gold chain(that I wear anyway, I have a store full of them though) and when I got my 2nd Porsche separated by 20 years from the first, I was a little embarrassed to be seen driving it so I'd drive with tinted windows up. I know it's odd but I didn't like the stigma of the typical Porsche guy but I had to drive it. NowI just don't care I need the p-car in my life. I'f people don't like it, screw em.

^^^ Ha! I know what you mean about the "stigma" - very guido, very gold chain, and VERY 80s aura to these cars!
I don't care either, and in fact, often purposely live down to peoples' expectations by flooring it every chance I get. Yes, I'm the easily entertained tool in the pint sized, gross polluter!!!

The new Cayman GT-4 does not need a giant two story wing. I wonder why some guys have not come up with a wing that comes up with speed and then hides in the air cooled cars? I'll tell you why...they want you to see their huge giant wing.

So owners of wingless, or hidden wing, aircooled 911s want everyone to see the car's VW Beetle butt?!?!

Brandon,
Good to hear from you. Had an issue with last years ice damming that required 5 - 7 months of repairs. Mayo checkup found a tumor in my right lung we had to deal with. Been doing work on the sled because we puked a turbo and had to replace it. We are all back together and ready for warmer weather. Hope all is good with you and yours !!!! Cole

^^^ No doubt about that!
Cole, every time I see one of the "wing or no wing" threads, as well as any thread about the evils of modifying one's 911/930, from the OEM only crowd (threads on K-jetronic turbocharging & brake bleeding, too ), I think about you and wonder how the Old Bastage is doing!
