That's sad, and why the owner should have been in a 993 Turbo, or something a little more run of the mill when he wrecked on a wet road. Speaking of the 993 Turbo, the 959 was not mass produced but much of the technology went into the 964, and 993. At first glance some 993 Turbos almost look like a 959.
Accidents like this is why I don't drive my 911T to do donuts. I drive my worn out old 944. As for 914's, you haven't heard the half of it. Try explaining to hardcore rear engine Porsche people that the 928 was the top of the line at Porsche in the late 1970's and 80's. Good luck!
