How to park 3 cars in a 2 car garage

Ok, I recently purchased my favorite car (other than the 930) and with a 2 car garage and the wife's car, was trying to figure out how to keep the Mini out of the rain. After dealing with car covers and even contemplating storage rentals or moving into a 3 car garage house, I found a solution. Literally less than an inch to spare but it works, and I can do it myself by just rolling the car back and forth. It's a standard size garage, no extensions.

You can't buy happiness, but you can buy car parts which is kind of the same thing.

I'll have to try that with my daily driver but it might be too large.

Early Mini's are a gas! You might also consider getting some of those 'wheel skates' sold at Harbor Freight and others. Great way to fit lots of cars by simply pushing them into garages sideways. We actually store five to six cars in a three car garage by using them to roll things around. The Mini is especially easy to push around as it weighs half of what a new 911 does.

I was actually going to buy the wheel rollers, but the extra 2 inches they would stick out would not work! There is also a little step down at the garage door that makes it tricky if one of those rollers drops down.

That's way too big. Maybe an original Fiat 500 but the new ones are close to the size of a typical compact car when you do the measurements.

I was the first one to own one in Orlando, FL. A rosso 2012 with all options... Loved it so much that I just got a 2015. Now with less options since I did not care for the sunroof....and now in nero

Just a great driver's car. Fun, fun, fun.

Back to normal programming

Cool! I will need to get rid of my washer and dryer to do that. But who needs clean clothes anyway?

I regret forgetting about requesting a high ceiling when we had our house built... I did ask the builder to add 2' to the depth of the garage... but forgot about the ceiling, duh! Can't stack cars...

Roll it back and forth? Why don't you just pick it up and put it there.
