Additional Fuel Filter 77 911S
Can anyone recommend an in-line fuel filter to install between the fuel tank and the pump?

What happened to the original filter installation?

Some people in a recent thread recommended this.
I don't have an extra one installed, for the record.

Here is a start: K&N In-Line Fuel Filter | Stainless Mesh and Cellulose Media Gas Filters.
I use rebuildable gas filters on my motorcycles.

Personally, other than a something like the sock and screen that is already in the fuel tank, I would not put a filter of any sort between the tank and the pump. As the filter plugs, it begins to require more suction pressure until more is needed than the pump is capable. At this point, the pump will cavitate and eventually destroy itself.
