Bad service. Actually the worst. Lrseat@gmail.com.

I don't need to get into the story. My recommendation is to avoid this company.

patz 08-19-2015 05:25 PM

Pretty vague, can u elaborate?

md993 08-19-2015 05:56 PM

Is Lrseat the company?

Hendog 08-19-2015 05:58 PM

I don't get it:confused:
Oh well, one of those "nothing to see here, carry on..."

Ronnie's.930 08-19-2015 06:01 PM

Sean, it's pretty eff'd up to sling an inflammatory comment about a business and offer no proof, or even a reason, for the **** slinging.

Maybe not the whole story. But the part about what part of their customer service didn't work for you and why it was bad enough that you would come out in public to discuss it.

And that would open the door to the company rebutting your claims.

Without anything but a vague suggestion for not doing business with someone, I am not convinced that there was a problem to begin with.

Take the time to elaborate. Folks are strange.

That includes you, me and your service provider.

The company is Called LRSEAT.com
By saying I would avoid them, its suggesting caution.
Not being slanderous.

Since I have had many P cars and been on forums for a very long time, I figured I could leave it at that.

If I have to justify my cautionary comment to the forum....The service I had was awful.
I purchased two leather seats. They were not even close to the colour. Cream over linen.
When I returned them (while paying the return fast shipping with signature BTW) The business did not communicate at all ever again with me.
Infact after a month of waiting for the business to refund me my original purchase, I called visa and put in a notice for return payment. Infact I called fedex and they faxed me the signature from the Business, that they had actually had the seats for nearly 3 weeks.

Communication was Zero.
Refund came because I had Visa put the pressure on Paypal for a return.

If you are looking for new Seat Covers, My experience with LRSEATS.COM would be to purchase with VISA only Via your paypal.

Other recent Vendors I have dealt with and said all positive things.
European Collectables
APBIZ- I have purchased 4 Carpets sets from them. Love them.
Leatherique Canada, purchased 5 different dyes for different cars. Great service. Actaully above and beyond.

I don't think this entitles anybody to just "leave it at that." But maybe I am old school.

The URL www.lrseat.com does not work. Surely you must mean lseat.com.
Much discussed here:

I don't have a horse in this race, but I feel like there are probably 2 sides to the story. As a wise man once said - the customer is always right - except when they are wrong. Just a couple of comments.

1. On their site it looks like they offer free sample swatches. If I were laying out good coin for a new set of covers, and needed a perfect match - I would probably order this up and see how it looks. That way, if the order does not match the sample swatch, it is an easy conversation.

2. Return policy - If I were dealing with an unknown (to me) company, and it was a big $ purchase, I would probably read the fine print. I might even ask - If the actual seat color does not match the swatch, can I return?

From their site "All returns must receive prior approval and an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number prior to return shipping within 14 days. Packages received by Lseat.com. without prior approval and RMA number will be refused. Return shipping and insurance are the customers responsibility. All returned items must be received in as new condition. Examples that render a product non-returnable include, but are not limited to: evidence of attempted installation, parts that have been bent, broken, creased, scratched, soiled, melted or discolored. Also, we will not accept returns for any items that have been altered, painted, repaired or for any reason that has rendered the product non-returnable. Warning: Lseat.com is not responsible for damaged or lost packages returned by the customer."

Sorry. Forgot to mention...Package came in to Fedex. I opened the box, not the plastic packaging there at fedex, and closed it retaped it and said ship it back to the customer from fedex.

Im not going to comment anymore...I got most of my money back. I though I would just suggest caution with this client.

With all the fine print, seems like they need protection from..............stuff.
