I don't understand how Audi could be let off that list. They build just about perfect winter cars, pretty nice in the summer too.

Cool The Other Car

Several years ago, a good friend owned a really nice Austin Healey 3000 and a Jag XJ6 sedan. One night I slipped into his
garage and put a "My other car is a Ford" bumper sticker on the Healey (This was just after Ford bought Jaguar). It went un-noticed for several days until he finally saw one of his neighbors laughing at the Healey. Fortunately, he had cooled down by the next time I saw him.

92 Audi 100 with 132K, a salvage title, and a lot of winter road time in northern new england (salt, sand and snow). Very reliable.

I think its worth about as much as the Fuchs that came with the Porsche, maybe less.

Hello,

I am guessing that the other car doesnt have to be a car. As for me it is a motorcycle. This is my 2000 Honda RC51. This thing rocks big time. Just like my Carrera!

89 Mercedes 300CE here. Quite a decent compromise on luxury/sport. Not quite as sporty feeling as BMWs but it works. Also kinda rare to see like the 911 .

DonDavis- I feel your pain on the Windstar, just got one today as a rental after taking in the 993 for the harness recall stuff.

Calspeed- Great looking bike, I always did want one of those........... I think I'll practice riding some more before killing myself though.

Well, I have been driving this around a bit lately.

It's a new product at the office, so there's lots of demand among the staff to drive it, but it's a lot of fun.

1) 4.0 litre
2) 24-valve twin cam inline 6 cylinder
3) Variable cam timing (intake & exhaust)
4) 242bhp
5) Independant Rear Suspension and Tiptronic auto

There's the option of a 320bhp turbo-six, a 300bhp 5.4 V8 or the sport version V8 with 350bhp and DOHC.

... and it's an Australian car!

Daily driver..

Here is my daily...1993 BMW 318i, JC chip, K&N filter. I'm thinking of putting a turbo on it since it's only a 4 banger and can't keep up with 325's. My wife drives a 1999 Nissan Maxima V6, but it's automatic so that kind of takes the fun out of it for me.

Working class???

Heya John...you have more cars than I ever have! Maybe if you got rid of some of those collectables you could buy a new 911 Turbo! BTW, I see you have an "S" variant of my '74. Would you mind if I bend your ear a little about the engine compartment electrical system? Email me if you care to listen to my woes: kcmoore@sunflower.com

Thanks.
