G50 clutch question

I took the release fork cross shaft out of my 1988 Carrera and these are the parts I found.

Notice that there is a lock washer still stuck on the end of the cross shaft. That's where it was when I took it out. A lock washer would normally be directly under the head of the bolt. I don't think it's supposed to be there, but this is a 911 and there is a lot of strange stuff. When putting it back together how do you get the bolt that screws into the shaft tight? Won't the shaft just rotate?

It apparently has this upgrade:

My question is what is the little black thing the arrow is pointing to? It seems to be missing on my car.
Also, is this the best cross shaft system? I see there are a couple of types of updates. Is there something better that I should use? Are the bushings in the release arm Oilite Bronze?

The black is the support for the cross pin on the inside if you have up date or G-50 964.
There should be one in the drawing for the entrance side also. Sorry, it's on the shaft in the picture.

THe bolt going into the shaft doesn't need to be tight, other than tight enough to ensure it doesn't fall out. The bolt tightness doesn't really do anything to keep the shaft in place. The bolt simply keeps the metal tab on the shaft to keep the shaft from walking out.

It's a good cross shaft system because it doesn't require lubrication. The factory Porsche shaft system uses needle cups that require the grease be intact. Once the grease dries up, the needles don't want to rotate and the shaft could bind. But the shaft doesn't really need to rotate. The fork is what really needs to rotate

Thank you both. I'll check the transmission to see if that little cup is still in there and re-use this when I put it all back together.
