Griot's Garage Christmas catalog gave me a chuckle. For a mere $248 you can buy a miniature replica of a 40IDA Weber to hold your 3 favorite pens or pencils. What made me laugh was the following ad copy: "Every time I pull my favorite pen from this replica Weber Carbureter, I imagine myself changing the jets on my old 1972 911S." I emailed, asking where I could find the carb jets on my '72S...so far, no response...

LOL, Paul!
I guess the ad writer didn't know when MFI ruled ... or possibly had one of the cars butchered to get rid of that old, unreliable MFI system that I keep hearing about in the 'old wive's tales' section of this BBS and in print magazines ... often passed off as fact by writers/editors younger than the last of the great MFI cars!

Maybe the writer can send me the MFI he pulled off his car when he installed the webers.
