New to Forum/introduction
I am new to the forum having just purchased a 1986 911 Cabriolet. This is my second Porsche having sold my 1st one, a 356B, 45 years ago! The 911 is all new to me so I have a lot to learn. I hope that I can get a little advice from the members of the forum from time to time as I navigate thru the process of getting to know my 911. I have always done my own work on a variety of cars thru the years. I do have a decently equipped home shop doing my own mechanical work and body and paint having restored several cars, but not a Porsche, over the years. My new to me Porsche is a driver that I purchased from my sister in law showing (and I believe it) just 58,000 miles. I have already ordered a few parts from Pelican so the journey begins.

Welcome! As allaircooled said, it's customary to post a picture of your ride when you do your first post, let us see her!
You've found the only spot you'll need for doing any DIY work you care to do...this forum knows everything there is to know. Enjoy the ride! |

Pete, I had the 356 when I lived in Southern Vermont many years ago. |
