Made it home!!

What a day and nite. They are never really "yours" until its in the driveway. Loading up a car thats been sitting is no fun. After closer inspection, this thing is not that bad. Some rust repair at the pedal cluster and a few other place, will know the real story after its stripped and baked. Real 15x8 and 15x7 fuchs on it., with a 14x5 fuch under the bonnet. Hope they are worth something. The owner of Memphis Moter Werks used to own this car come to find out. Made a stop by the shop and chatted with Mike for an hr..car came from s. cal. 25 some-odd yrs ago, Mike made a track car out of it for a buddy, engine fire, parked, then sold to the guy I bought it from who had owned it 20 yrs., lots of other goodies underneath, (cool sway bars, later trailing arms, cross member, dust shields on rotors have brake cooling scoopes that look factory? Will be stripping it down the next week or so as time allows. Still had the S calipers on it to, and the brakes work! More to come.

That moment .....after you've done all the calls, the test driving, the PPI, the paperwork, the negotiation, the funds exchange, and general coordinating....
that moment when everything is now still, and there it is, sitting motionless in your garage. Wow, that just happened. Ok, I need a sandwich now.
