Porsche Man Cave Swag / Decor

Cool, unique Christmas gift from my wife this year:

She designed the vinyl wrap while my brother (Pelican "Cabmando") donated the door, and Pelican "Flat6pac" was kind enough to provide a donor handle.

Will be hanging it proudly in the garage!

Semper Fi and happy holidays!

Gordo

Don't be procrastinating! Get that thing hung on the wall. Looks great and I'm glad I could be part of it.

Hey now. . . Did my Army time in Smoke Bomb Hill in the early '70s and then spent the bulk of my young adult life as a Naval officer. Don't be running down the Navy (or Marines). Different jobs, yes, but just as important.

Door & Services

Standard answer to the "squid" comment "...you were in a department of the Navy..."

Yep - "the Men's department" (all good... normal Navy / USMC banter).
----------------------------

Yea - the door makes me feel a bit guilty thinking someone could probably use a good door. But then again, if it were anything other than a 911 door on the wall - it wouldn't have as much meaning.

Thanks for the comments folks - it really is a sweet piece of work.

Not if you're a Porsche nut. Many Americans have little interest in American made cars. Doesn't make them unpatriotic. We are friends with the Germans now so it's ok. Tim

The US played a key role in the liberation of Germany then presided over its rebirth and defense for 60+ years post WW2. All so that Porsche could focus on sports cars!

The door done up in this way makes perfect sense.
