Sweet car!!
What mods does it have. Do you have a carbon fiber shift knob? I heard those are good for 5hp plus it makes the 915 shift more quickly. :D Seriously, what mods did the PO do besides the drivetrain. So it has a late 915 gearbox as well? Does the car have the stock 3.2 exhaust or the early exhaust? I look forward to hearing more about your car. Enjoy your drive back to Indiana |

Neil,
Actually I have a MOMO cobra shift knob(in carbon fiber) to go in the car.;) It has slotted rotors, the 915 transaxle, bilstien shocks, front and rear sways, recaros, harness bar, oversize mocal cooler w/thermostat, stock exhaust, etc. etc. Brian, It's at the Matterhorn Restaurant in Elkhart. Lot's of door prizes. You should go. It's Feb. 1st. |

If you are driving through Northeast Ohio (I-90 or I-80) let me know. I can meet you for lunch or a cup of coffee, depending on the time you come through?
Even if it is just for emergencies, I will drop you my number. Plenty of tools, and a good wrench if it is bigger than both of us? |
very nice :)

Vance,
I going the I80/90 route. I will be at the guys house at 2:30 PM Saturday in Ithica NY. I Plan to be on the road by 3:30 to 4:00. So shoot me your # and location and maybe we could grab a coffee or something. I actually slept last night!:) I can't wait to get there. The owner sent pics of all the areas I was concerned about(battery boxs, torsion tubes) looks like a solid car. It's not a show car...but I like drivers anyway. I already have a list in my head of go-fast parts.:D |
Left you a PM - hopefully we can hook up! Have a safe ride!
|
Congratulations Thrown....:)
You've done well for yourself. Very tidy looking engine compartment too..... I still can't believe how much 911 you guys in the States can get for your money. I'm sure you're new car would be valued at around $20,000 US or at least £15,000 in the UK. Have a blast on the drive home  though beware, the pigs will see you coming a mile away !!!! |
Deeks,
Hopefully I will see them a mile away with my trusty detector.:D |
WOW, that is nice...love the 3.2 in a '73...maybe you should record that Mazda zoom-zoom-zoom song for the ride home :D do you have interior pic's? looks like the fenders are flared too...also if you mind me asking, what did you drop for it? I just purchased a '82 911SC for $12,000, it's beautiful, but in the garage until spring :(
