Blue engine.
I have just bought a 68 911 out of the USA. The engine was painted blue at some stage. Someone must know did this. It has to be signature thing. There are traces of blue everywhere Inc the cases and oil cooler.

the 930 conversion project's motor I got had PC in blue, yellow, and red. arrggg...
got it stripped to the case. will take a lot of time/work in the blast cabinet to get all that PC off.

Bad taste alright. Luckily its just about all gone. Maybe it was in a blue car when it was re sprayed. You can only see traces from below .
