I have a set of the aluminum calipers from a mid 1970s 911. The bore for one of the pistons is distorted enough to cause the piston to stick. I had to pump the brake pedal while retaining the opposite piston with a large c-clamp to get the piston free of the bore. The finish of the bore is a mat like surface that is very smooth, save for where the piston has been binding. Does anyone know of a company that will repair this bore either by honing or actually machining the out of round into round? I measure .008" (.203 mm) distortion. Thanks

I talked to Shane, he said they do no machining on these calipers.

Good call Bill. I spoke with them this morning and shipped both calipers to them soon after. Faster turn around time and less expensive than another shop I called and had used for some Turbo calipers last year.
