Your right, HP camp has been quite.
Not many Junkie topic's lately.
Put my car in the shop Monday, new
clutch, ss headers (with heat this time),
new tial w/gate, K-30 turbo, and some tuning.
Needless to say I'll be singing "bling", but
hav'nt spent any money on it in a while.
Any new victims with your car?

Amac,
latest victim was my friends Turbo BMW M3 we had 2 races the first one we ran out of road and it was even the second time it appears to me that I won by a fender or so, BUT the road was very narrow and the distance was very short soooooooooo is only one way to settle this one I call him today and the car is running and running good so saturday we will dance Im sure I will take him next on the list is a 911 3.4 Twin Turbo which will appear in the Movie Fast and Furious part 2 that one we need to win so 1.5 bar of boost here we come other than that we wait.

Are you using racing fuel?
If your going up on boost, go up
on oct.
105 would be good if you can get it!
Let me know, I may have some tricks
for you.

Well I don't think I am a junkie. But I was going to do a G50 conversion this winter. That is put on hold. Now I am going to fix some oil leaks and build some SS heatexchangers. I might also upgrade the turbo to a K27.

I'm just working on weight reduction right now. Boosted craziness won't be for a few years.

Juan- did you ever decide on drag wheels ?

My engine is coming together, slowly, hopefully I'll have the bottom end buttoned up this weekend. Soon Jaun, soon.

jaun twin plugging your motor would give u an extra 4-5 psi of boost before detonation, assuming constant fuel...

you could also squeeze more power from that motor with a more modern EFI setup... motec or electromotive... they just let u run more boost and have your car run consistently because you can program them to account for all atmospherics...

if you were to do that, the boys at TWM have a veeery nice individual throttle body setup that would make your motor truely snappy. you could also have some fogger nozzles machined in if you had the urge to go faster (lol cmon i know u do).

what pistons and rings are you running? stock 3.4s? or a custom JE setup with some total seals or what

Hey Juan--out of curiosity, what thickness torison bar are you running in the back? I'm running 30mm and still getting pretty serious squat. I could go thicker (up to 32?), or move to coil overs, I suppose.

Any other high horsepower guys out there with experience on this?

Relativly soft rear suspension is good for drag-racing, especially for good take-off (preventing wheel-hop and skidding)...

True, but bottoming out your suspension isn't good for anything. If I go to coilovers, I'll spin the tires all over the place, I know.

We ONLY RACE FROM A ROLL 20mph,I belive the car is a 87 that Protomotive build and I think is 600hp when I race the c2Turbo the owner of the 3.4 twin turbo was my co-pilot we won that race and he said that my car feels as strong as his,he also has much more driving expirence than me,but will see.

Bruce M, as you could Guess it Im all stock in that dept just know im getting prices on those items but Im looking for some wheels to run D.O.T Slicks

On another note Im still amaze that I dont have this traction problems but I pray to my HP GODS every nite

Hey Bruce,
Hate squating too!
Put coilovers on my car and I have less wheel spin.
What size tires are you running?

Ok Juan,
My guess is your both running 5 speeds.
If this is the case I would shift to 2nd. very
quickly after take off. Double clutch 2nd. and
3rd. to keep your boost up. If this guy's been
around for while that's what he's going to do.
Now if he has a 930 4 speed, be 1st. out of the
box. A rolling start and 4 speed is hard stay with
to about 120mph.
Get a short 3" exhaust pipe on your turbo lose the
muffler.(you'll like it)
The Force is with you dark side brother.
