I just got bill for my tranny rebuild (which was completed w/out me approving the $$$ figure...ouch) and i think i got a pretty good deal but wanted to compare prices for things like synchros, seals, gaskets, "transmission guide sleeves" whatever they are, "harness" (what is that for?) etc.

Go here just to enter parts numbers and get prices. Buy from Pelican when you can.

that was the first place i tried because i knew that feature existed there. for some reason none of the parts came up? I know they are oem part #s?

i feel no shame because i am not buying from them as the indie shop that is doing it simply bought all the parts and installed them. i was informed after the fact!

So what was the bill for the rebuild?
