adjusting emergency brake
put in the hargett shiftier and want to adjust my emergency brake. The brake works just with the new shiftier I need it to engage with a couple of clicks. Can I adjust the slack at the handle with the two screws or do I have to do it at rear wheels....
Thanks John

I believe the emergency brake only gets adjusted at the rear wheel

Use the two screws only to adjust the balance bar at the handle, not to take up slack. Raise the rear end, pull the wheels and use a brake tool or screwdriver to adjust the star wheel (they adjust mirror image of one another BTW).
I typically get them super tight and then slack them from there. Do keep an eye on the balance bar at the handle as you go.
