911 SC oil smoke under load
At idle the car doesn't smoke, under load it smokes heavily and is burning oil so badly I parked it. What suggestions do you have on Cause?

How many miles? Does it smoke more on deceleration in gear, than on acceleration?
Typical on these cars with higher miles is worn valve guides and seals. Do a leakdown test.

+1.
The leakdown test is designed to give you those answers. The rest is an educated guess. Most likely rings or guides, or both. Only way to determine prior to tear down is Leakdown. Alan
