Can anyone identify this part? 1984 Turbo Look

Having problem posting picture from my IPad, but it is an orange maybe a thermo coupling or something under fuel filter. Car is 1984 Turbo look coupe. There is also a 2 pronged plug near it that is unplugged. The coupling is broken on one end. I remember having it on my 1984 944 on the firewall, but car is not in this state and cannot check it.

I believe that is the O2 sensor plug, and they're prone to this type of break.
