Can the dust boots be changed without removing the caliper?
If so, I can order the FTE and find out if they fit the rear |
It is possible, tight but possible. I would carefully remove the calipers with the line connected and also disconnect the hold down mount on the line and carefully move if off the control arm. Use coat hangers to help support it.
Clean the area well with brake parts cleaner, don't soak it! Just get rid of the brake dust and dry asap. Get the Sylglide from NAPA and smear a dab of grease under the boot to help future moisture prevention and fit the new dust boots on. Hope they fixed the design as the previous poster stated. Keep us posted Brother :D |
