Well, after five years of hibernation and after two months of work I finally got the Porsche back on the road. However, no spectacular fall color photos to post because the first time out revealed a sticking throttle condition so no time to get the camera out.

Several days later and problem fixed the cell hone camera was at hand.




Sometimes the beauty is that feeling you get inside.

But the temps are cooler in the low 80's and we took a nice spin up toward Nokomis Beach and stopped at a friends house. I couldn't resist snapping this pic because she looked so nice and brings me so much pleasure. It's shocking to me that a 41 year old car can still feel so solid at 100 MPH on the highway!

Thanks Glenfield! I am really enjoying the hell out of this car. I want to dive deeper into working on it but I'm lacking the knowledge to diagnose and trouble shoot. I'm trying to figure things out but I really have never worked on cars before. I wish there were classes I could take on line or after work to learn about air cooled Porsches!

I finished my "Covid" suspension in Carlsbad in time for a ride up Angel's Crest with Tyson Schmidt (the nicest Porsche guy you will ever meet) in August



And then moved back to Boston in time for the fall, life doesn't get any better!

I managed to spend an evening at the dragstrip in Cecil county Maryland the white Honda civic type R was my friend and competition I managed to beat him with a 14.20 flat great fun. victory by .0102 second
